5. Press down and release the heatsink retainer clip to disengage one side from the processor

socket

6. Unhook the opposite side of the heatsink retainer clip from the processor socket

,and

then lift the heatsink/fan assembly from the processor socket

7. Lift the lever, located on the side of the processor socket, to release the pins of the

processor

, and then pull the processor from the socket .

To replace the processor with heatsink, reverse steps 2 through 7.

IMPORTANT: The processor is keyed to ensure correct alignment.
