6. Close the laptop screen.
Step 5: Replace the Screws
1. Turn the laptop over so the back is facing you.
2. Insert screws into positions shown in Fig. 2-a.
3. Hold the plastic handle of the screw driver with
your dominant hand.
4. Fit the metal tip of the screw driver into the head
of the screw as in Fig. 2-a.
5. Push into the screw while turning in a clockwise
direction.
6. Continue previous step until screw is firmly in
place.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for all labeled screws in Fig. 2-b.
Step 6: Make the Computer Operational
1. Replace the battery into the back of the laptop as
shown in Fig. 1.
2. Plug in the power cord into the side of the
computer as shown in Fig. 8.
3. Turn the laptop over so the front is facing you.
4. Lift up the laptop screen.
5. Press the power button to make sure the new
keyboard works.

Never work on a machine connected to a power
source!
Never force parts into place!
Never work around water!
Be patient with parts!
