3. Remove the cover according to the manufacturer’s documentation (if

not already done).

4. Install the Ultra 160 LVD SCSI controller board (see Table 5 on

page 29).

5. Secure the Ultra 160 LVD SCSI controller board to the system.

ATTO 3300 Fibre Channel Controller Board

The ATTO 3300 Fibre Channel controller board is a 2-Gb optical

controller used for standalone Fibre Channel storage (see Figure 13). This

is also the required controller to support the Avid Unity MediaNetwork

storage environment.

Use Table 5 on page 29 to identify the PCI slot to install your optional

boards.

To install an optional board:

1. Turn off the system and unplug the power cord.

2. Put on an antistatic wrist strap and connect it to a metal ground point

on your system.
