4. In the Screen area, click the slider and drag it to one of the qualified

resolutions (see Table 8). The typical resolution is 1024 x 768 pixels.

5. Under Colors, select True Color (32 bit):

a. Click Apply.

b. Click OK.

c. Click Yes.

6. Click the Advanced button.

7. Click the Monitor tab.

8. Choose 75 Hertz from the Refresh Frequency pop-up menu.

a. Click OK.

b. Click OK.

c. Click Yes.

9. (Option for dual monitors) Click the #2 monitor to activate the second

monitor.

10. (Option for dual monitors) Select “Extend my Windows desktop onto

this monitor,” and then click Apply.

11. (Option for dual monitors) Repeat steps 4 to 8.

12. Click OK to close the Display Properties dialog box.
